Weblooking into visiting Þakgil in september. some questions. would visiting this place take more than a day? not sure in what condition the road to there is and how long and difficult the hiking trails there are. if you've visited or will be visiting Þórsmörk, would Þakgil not feel a bit underwhelming and perhaps more of the same?
